Reece Cogswell is a zealous musician with a passion for music’s ability to spread joy and connection.  At the heart of his accompaniment is a playful energy, and a commitment to serve the music, whatever style that may be.  With roots in Jazz, Rock, Funk, and much more, Reece is prepared to provide any musical situation with an infectious, saturated groove.  As a composer, he draws from his multifaceted interests to bring new sounds to the world.  Reece completed his Bachelor of Music degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and resides in Denver and San Francisco.  Reece is also a co-founder of the contemporary fusion quartet Communitas, who's debut album is releasing soon.​
